Wegovy 0.5mg is the first step-up dose of the once-weekly Wegovy injection, prescribed for long-term weight management in adults with obesity, or overweight adults with a weight-related condition, alongside a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity. It sits between the 0.25mg starting dose and the higher 1mg, 1.7mg and 2.4mg injection doses, and is used as treatment builds up under a doctor's supervision.
