Description

Most anti-dandruff shampoos clear the flakes you can see and stop there. Nizoral works differently. Its active ingredient, 2% ketoconazole, is an antifungal that targets Malassezia, the naturally occurring scalp fungus that, when it overgrows, drives the flaking, itching and redness of dandruff and seborrhoeic dermatitis. How often should I use Nizoral 2%?
For active dandruff, use it twice a week for two to four weeks, then once a week or every two weeks to keep flakes from returning. Wet the hair, work a little into the scalp, leave for three to five minutes, then rinse.
